Haha..This is the 5th back since I came back. I'm home sweet home once again after a few months away. Somehow, I don't miss it all that much but it sure feels good to be back. This is just the beginning of my journey of indulging in my favourite food and snacks. So far, I have chomped down Laksa, Siew Pau, Egg Tarts, Infamous Lamb Curry and Beef noodle. Of course that's not all I have in mind, the list is endless. For starters, I'll be hunting for desserts, 'black rice porridge' (direct translation of course), sotong kangkung, rojak (regular, fruits, Indian), nasi beriani (at my favourite place), roti canai (possibly kopi o corner) and the list goes on. And that's just my food list, I have many other mindbogging lists for movies etc. Kuching is my little food heaven and everything is just at my fingertips.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I wouldn't trade this place for any metropolitan in the world. I've been too far too many I guess but the grass back home always seems greener to me in this sense. It may be an 'old-man' town, where bumping into your neighbour or relative in town seems unevitable and somehow everyone just seems to know everyone, but that's what makes life here so peaceful and down to earth. LOVE IT!! =P
